Foley Part III:
Division

After about a 6 month break from the use of Foley as a centerpiece for digital expression, there became a third resurgence in very early 2020. The third resurgence was brought on through a series of intense panic attacks brought on by claustrophobia from being cramped into a series of different theater seats and small cars. I was then inspired to make a new series of different forms of Foley that could more specifically address the fears and stressors that were plaguing me at the time including feelings of being too large for small spaces, being unhealthily obese, having deep unbrittled rage, and even taking a chance to acknowledge a moment of growth and joy. These took form in the new morphing variations of Foley referred to as Foley Tall, Foley Fat, Foley Anger, and Foley Transition, respectively. This also signaled a late return to older styles of photo collage and text which would in someway make this phase a tie between of the previous two phases while leaving an open end for future expression.
